About the position As a barista at Starbucks, you will create a welcoming and engaging experience for customers by providing excellent service and expertly crafted beverages. This role emphasizes teamwork, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to learn and master your food and beverage craft while connecting with customers and colleagues alike. Responsibilities ? Create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products. , ? Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide a pleasant communication experience. , ? Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized for customers. , ? Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift. , ? Handle cash and ensure store safety and security standards are met. , ? Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals. Requirements ? No previous experience required. , ? Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. , ? Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays. , ? Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. , ? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team. Nice-to-haves ? Experience in customer service or food service environments. , ? Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
