About the position The Associate Director-Software Development at Verizon is responsible for leading and managing Call Center and Store applications within the Value business. This role involves overseeing a talented team, ensuring high-quality product delivery, and collaborating with business units to align on goals and vision. The position requires technical leadership, management of large-scale applications, and the implementation of Agile methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency in customer service and sales processes. Responsibilities ? Lead and manage the Call Center and Store applications in the Value business. , ? Coach and mentor a highly motivated team to deliver high-quality products and services. , ? Partner with business units to establish goals and communicate the vision set by senior leadership. , ? Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver business value through the Northstar Architecture tech stack. , ? Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise on complex projects across multiple channels. , ? Lead the Center of Excellence for Call Center and store channels, delivering end-to-end solutions for Sales and Service flows. , ? Manage relationships with vendors to improve quality and reliability of products and services. , ? Establish objectives and create road maps to align with business partners and stakeholders. , ? Drive DevOps implementation and manage the delivery of projects within budget and time constraints. , ? Analyze market and technology trends to identify growth opportunities and recommend process improvements. Requirements ? Eight or more years of relevant experience in software development or related fields. , ? Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience in a relevant area. , ? Advanced experience in Software Development and technology leadership. , ? Experience in managing and motivating large technical teams. , ? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver large-scale technical projects. , ? Demonstrated experience in partnering with Business and IT teams to drive alignment and delivery. Nice-to-haves ? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. , ? Experience in business process transformation and user experience optimization. , ?
